Truth is our bastion of hoped— the rainbow in a stormy time. Someone said the difference between coal and diamond is that diamond held up under pressure.
The Scriptural expression, Until the day break and the shadows flee away, assures that such a time as described is coming. God holds every tomorrow in His hand. Nothing prevents His will from coming to pass. Though it be perceived to be delayed, it really isn’t. It will not be delayed; it will come (Habakkuk 2:2-3). Solomon observed that the path of the righteous is as the dawning light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day (Proverbs 4:18 ASV). How great it is to receive encouragement from a morning Psalm— like Psalm 112:4a Unto the upright, there arises light in the darkness.
The promises of God are wonderful. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Hope deferred makes the heart sick; but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. All the promises of God are yes and amen. Victory In Jesus is not a musical theme relegated to the past. It is more relevant today than ever.
