Happy New Year! It is the dawn of a new year. I am literally writing this in the first hour of the year. I just got home from our Watchnight service at Church, which was awesome! Before going, I meditated on the good things of God while sipping a cup of raspberry hot chocolate. That was refreshing. But I was glad when they said unto me let us go to the house of the Lord. The worship, the testimonies, the preaching, and taking communion were tremendous. What a way the begin the year. And I believe the new year holds many great things.
2022 was a sad and hard year, having lost Jan, the love of my life. But God proved to be the God of all comfort. And people were extremely nice. The hope of the Gospel never meant more to me than it did this last year. We’re saved! Therefore, we’re blessed.
We will see our loved ones again. At the Rapture, our redemption will be complete and we will be like Him. We will fit in that Holy City like a hand in a glove because He will make our natures perfect. He is preparing that place for us. Let’s hold on to our hope until the day break and the shadows flee away.
The lesson I post now ties nicely with the previous one. I hope it blesses you. Since the day I was filled with the Holy Ghost, I have loved the plan of salvation. While meditating earlier, I thought about the awesome privilege to know the God of heaven, the Christ of the Gospels, Who has revealed to us His name and oneness. All His promises to us are yea and amen. We trust God because He is faithful and good. With Him, there is no defeat. No lasting disappointment. Just Victory!
